Two Stroke

Tvåtakt (Two Stroke) is a duet in two acts by artist Ingela Ihrman and choreographer Stina Nyberg. With dance and disguise as a starting point, they have taken on each other’s bodies and practices. Through transmissions of different kinds of impulses, actions, cares and rhythms, Ingela and Stina meet in an alternately smooth and squeaky machinery. Beyond rehearsed step combinations and liver-colored full-body costumes, they try to dance with each other.

Tvåtakt is Ingela and Stina’s first serious collaboration, and came about during a residency at Hägerstensåsen’s public house in Stockholm. The show premiered on December 12, 2023 and played on five occasions.
